Codiac RCMP are still searching for the suspect after an armed robbery at a Caisse Populaire bank this morning.
RCMP responded to the call around 10:45 this morning at the Caisse Populaire Acadienne on Churchill street.
They say a single man armed with a handgun and wearing a ski mask entered the bank demanding money.
The suspect got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. An RCMP search dog was brought in to try track the man’s whereabouts, but the suspect is still at large.
RCMP say the man was wearing a ski mask, a grey coat, dark glasses and dark jeans. Anyone with any information is being asked to contact police and the investigation continues.
