SIMCOE, Ont. – Provincial police say one person is dead and four others were taken to hospital following a three-vehicle collision in Simcoe, Ont.
Police say a vehicle driven by a 66-year-old man was waiting to turn late Thursday afternoon when it was stuck from behind by a pickup truck driven by a 21-year-old man.
Investigators say the collision pushed the vehicle into the path of another pickup.
The 66-year-old Norfolk County man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 21-year-old man wasn’t injured.
The driver of the second pickup, a 28-year-old Norfolk County man, a 25-year-old woman passenger, and two young children were taken to hospital as a precaution.
Police say the investigation is continuing.
