PENTICTON – Civilians helped RCMP in the arrest of an alleged robbery suspect at a Penticton shopping mall.
It happened Friday afternoon at Cherry Lane.

A witness tells Global Okanagan News two men tried to rob a jewellery store.
One of the suspects managed to escape but the other was apprehended and held by mall shoppers until RCMP arrived.
The man, who appeared to be bleeding from the nose, was checked by ambulance paramedics before being taken away by police.
Penticton RCMP has not confirmed the witness reports.
