CALGARY – Police and emergency crews responded to reports of an unknown person making a bomb threat at the Medicine Hat Mall at around 12:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
Officials said mall management then decided to evacuate the premises before police and mall staff searched the entire property.

No suspicious packages or devices were found during the search.
Police said they have a 24-year-old man in custody in connection to the offence but no charges have been laid.
Police continue to investigate.
