KELOWNA – After being sidelined with injury for the past five weeks, Kelowna Rockets forward Rodney Southam is back in the line-up.
Southam suffered an ankle injury during the Rockets December road swing and says it’s been a tough rehabilitation process, but he’s now recovered.
“It’s good to be back,” says Southam. “My first day cleared [to be on the ice] was Tuesday, so I’ve got in a couple of skates and my ankle’s feeling a lot better.”
Southam is back just in time to take on his former team the Tri-City Americans.
It’s the start of back-to-back weekend games for the Rockets, who face off against the Medicine Hat Tigers on Saturday.
