MONTREAL – The popular art festival Porchfest is making a big return to NDG in 2016.
Originating in Ithica, New York, Porchfest made its way to Montreal in the spring of 2015.
The one-day showcase brought local artists to various parts of the neighbourhood, displaying their work with musical performances in between.

Organizers said it was a way to encourage NDG residents to participate and discover the talent within their neighbourhood.
The hope of turning it into an annual event have come true; Porchfest will run for an entire weekend this wyear.
The free event will be help May 7 and 8 (weather permitting), with registration beginning late February on their website.
