TORONTO — Three suspects have been arrested and two others sought after police opened fire on a fleeing vehicle in a residential neighbourhood during an alleged break-and-enter in progress in Mississauga on Monday.
Peel Regional Police officers responded to the call at 11:21 a.m. and “interacted” with the suspects on Dursley Crescent, before taking three of them into custody at the scene, police said. One of the suspects was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Police said two additional suspects then fled in a black Ford F150 pickup truck.
During the incident, police fired an undisclosed number of gunshots at the truck and damage was caused to the windows.
