Strong first half earns Oilers’ Hall a spot at NHL All-Star game

EDMONTON – Edmonton Oilers winger Taylor Hall has been selected as an NHL all-star.

Hall was one of 44 players picked for the NHL All-Star Weekend Jan. 30-31 in Nashville.

Hall is tied for fifth in league scoring with 41 points (as of Wednesday morning).

The 24-year-old will represent the Pacific Division as part of the new format, where the all-stars will play in a three-game tournament, played in a three-on-three format, featuring teams representing each NHL division.
