1 person in serious condition after early morning Edmonton crash

One person was sent to hospital with serious injuries after a collision on Yellowhead in Edmonton, Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016.

EDMONTON – One person went to hospital with serious injuries Tuesday morning after a collision on the Yellowhead in east Edmonton.

It’s believed one vehicle crashed into a vehicle parked on the side of the road between 50 St. and Victoria Trail, police said.

Yellowhead eastbound was closed in the area of the collision for several hours.

It was reopened shortly before 9 a.m.
