CALGARY- A man was rushed to hospital on New Year’s Eve after a stabbing in the northeast community of Saddleridge.

Police received a call from EMS around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday.

EMS said a man in his mid-20s was taken to the Foothills Hospital with stab wounds.

The man suffered serious injuries and is now listed in stable condition.

Police said the stabbing took place inside a house, but have not said whether the victim was attending a New Year’s Eve party.

Investigators do not have anyone in custody at this time. It’s not clear how many suspects they are looking for.
