SASKATOON – The City of Saskatoon is on damage control, removing stickers from its equipment and buildings since mid-December. These stickers have even been distributed to some Saskatonians.
The stickers have the mayor’s name on them and also “for a drug and gay free Saskatoon.”

Mayor Don Atchison did not attend the local pride parade in 2015, sparking controversy.
According to the city’s communications manager, Carla Blumers, the anonymous distributor is using the City of Saskatoon logo and without authorization.
Blumers said stickers have been found and removed mostly in the downtown area and on parking pay stations.
The Saskatoon Police Service is aware of the situation.
