MONCTON, N.B. – RCMP in Moncton, N.B., say they consider the death of a man in a house fire to be suspicious.
Police say they were called to a residence on Sumac Street after firefighters responded to the scene around 4 a.m. today.
They say the body of a man was found inside the home.
Division fire chief Charles LeBlanc says the fire was contained to one unit in the building and was dealt with quickly.
LeBlanc says the other units were not damaged by the blaze and no one has been displaced.
Police and the Moncton Fire Department are continuing to investigate.
