Variety Show of Hearts celebrating 50th anniversary with live show

To celebrate their golden anniversary, the Variety telethon is going back to its roots.

In a salute to its entertainment beginnings, the Show of Hearts telethon will have a second stage at The Centre at 777 Homer Street in downtown Vancouver, where live musical performances will take place throughout the two days.

“For many years, we…were showing a lot of broadcast performances. But there’s something about having that live and full effect,” said Erin Cebula, who will be hosting.
