Saskatoon testing notifynow emergency system

SASKATOON – “This is a test.” The city is getting ready to run another test of its emergency notification system.

Saskatoon’s emergency measures organization will be running the test Tuesday at 10 a.m. CT. The test is to familiarize people with the system along with testing the accuracy of the resident database.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

People who have a publically available phone number along with those who have signed up for notifynow will receive the test message.

Anyone with an unlisted phone number, those without a landline and people who just moved to the city will need to sign-up if they want to receive notifynow messages.
