MALLORYTOWN, Ont. – Ontario Provincial Police have closed a stretch of Hwy. 401 after two transport trucks collided and spilled their cargoes across the roadway Saturday.

O.P.P. issued a warning around 4:30 a.m. alerting drivers that the westbound lanes remained closed near County Road 5, approximately 120 km south of Ottawa.
The highway remains closed as of 1:30 p.m.
Police haven’t reported any injuries resulting from the crash.
