TORONTO — A 56-year-old Toronto photographer is facing charges in connection with the alleged sexual assaults of several teenaged clients.
Police said Sinnarajah Sivasubramaniam operated his own photography studio in a plaza in Scarborough in the early 2000s called Y2K studios, also known as Siva’s Studios.
Police said during that time, Sivasubramaniam allegedly used his position as a photographer to sexually assault teenaged girls during photo shoots.
Sivasubramaniam surrendered to police on Monday and has been charged with three counts of sexual assault and three counts of sexual interference.
He appeared in court in Toronto on Monday. Police believe there may be other victims.
