Homicide unit investigating ‘suspicious death’ in Winnipeg

WINNIPEG — A 28-year-old female’s death is being called ‘suspicious’ by Winnipeg police after her body was discovered Thursday morning.

Emergency personnel responded to reports of an unresponsive female at the 100 block of Tuxedo Avenue at approximately 10 a.m. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Members of the Winnipeg police Homicide Unit are continuing with the investigation.
