Murder victim’s sister learns homicide rates didn’t include Aborginals until now

But only now has she discovered Jackie Crazybull’s death, along with countless other First Nations people, had never before been documented by Statistics Canada.

For the first time ever, the government agency is tracking and recording homicide rates to include Aboriginal Peoples.

An even more disturbing revelation for her, was that almost one quarter of Canada’s homicide victims are aboriginal.
