Saskatoon police investigating multiple garage break-ins

Saskatoon police are warning residents in north-end residential areas to watch for suspicious persons following over 24 break-ins. File / Global News

SASKATOON – Police are asking north-end Saskatoon residents to be aware of suspicious activity following numerous break-ins in the last month. Over 24 break and enters have been reported in the Lawson Heights, River Heights and Silverwood neighbourhoods.

Police say the suspect, or suspects, break into locked and unlocked garages and steal items at night. Vehicles inside the garages have also been entered.

It’s believed the suspects may have access to a vehicle, according to officials.

Members of the property crime task force and patrol are investigating.
