TORONTO – Toronto police have released the identity of a man who was fatally shot in north Etobicoke Tuesday night.
Police said Narendra Ramdharry, 26, of Toronto was shot twice in the back on Nov. 17 just before 8 p.m. ET.
The shooting happened on Alba Place just off campus of Humber College near Highway 27 and Humber College Boulevard.
Police said the victim was found outdoors on the ground next to a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials at Humber College said patrols were stepped up on campus following the shooting and that there was no immediate threat to the school community.
Police have not released any description of suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
