Passengers of diverted Air France plane delayed again

HALIFAX – Paris-bound airplane passengers stuck in Halifax because of a bomb threat will have to wait several more hours before they can resume their travels.

A spokesperson for the Halifax International Airport Authority said Wednesday morning that a new flight was set for 7 p.m., possibly on the same plane.

That had to be changed to 3:45 a.m. Thursday to meet sleep requirements for crew members.

The plane, which carried 262 passengers and crew, was searched by police at Halifax Stanfield International Airport, but no explosives were found. It took off in Washington, D.C.
