Touring through the wildest places on Earth with the Morning News

WINNIPEG – Manitobans can travel around the globe while staying in Winnipeg for the next few months.

A new exhibit presented by National Geographic allows people to take a journey through the wildest places in the world from a 6,000 square foot setting.

Earth Explorers features a series of international environments including rain forests, mountains, caves, savannas and oceans at the Manitoba Museum.

The the scenic spots include an interactive digital experience that uses advanced technology on iPhones or iPads. The program runs until April 24 before .

Global’s Shannon Cuciz toured through the exhibition to give Winnipeggers an idea of what they can expect.
