Shots fired between two vehicles in Surrey

People in two vehicles shot at each other while travelling through a busy Surrey street on Sunday.

It happened around 2:35 p.m. on 72nd Avenue near 124th Street. The two vehicles involved were a dark coloured SUV with Alberta license plate K80469, and the second vehicle was a dark Honda.

Two other vehicles were struck by one of the suspect vehicles. Nobody from any of the three cars were hit, and Surrey RCMP were unable to find the two suspect vehicles.

“Regardless of the motive for this incident, violent crime suppression continues to be the top priority for this detachment,” said Surrey RCMP Cpl. Scotty Schumann in a statement.

“We’re appealing to anyone who may know the suspects or have further information, to come forward.”
