Reports of erratic driver come just before Vernon crash

VERNON–Vernon RCMP say they were getting calls about an erratic driver just before his car crashed at the intersection of College Way and Highway 97 Saturday afternoon.

The crash happened around 12:30 p.m.

The driver went through a red light before smashing into a pole, hitting a green car, and flipping his own car on its roof.

The 20-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the green car was not injured.
