A Surrey man has pled guilty to 12 charges relating to break-ins to two New Westminster SkyTrain stations and the bank machines inside.
According to transit police, shortly after 5 a.m. on March 3, New Westminster police arrested 49-year-old Harvey Peter Hogan on the elevated SkyTrain tracks between Lougheed and Braid stations.
Hogan was attempting to evade police after breaking into the Braid Station.
After Hogan was arrested, transit police recognized Hogan as the same man seen on video two days earlier breaking into the 22nd Street Station and the bank machine inside at about 3:30 a.m. on March 1.
Police investigated and found a vehicle, break-in tools and a large sum of cash.
Hogan is well-known to police and was taken into custody. He will be sentenced on Nov. 12.
