Do you know someone awesome in the Okanagan? Tell us about them so we can share their story!
It could be someone who keeps a positive attitude through tough times, someone who constantly puts others’ needs before their own, perhaps a teacher or coach who goes above and beyond, or a young person who gives back in a big way. Maybe it’s a neighbor who has changed the community.
Do one or many of those sound like someone you know? We want to hear about them!
Every month, we’ll choose a new “Local Hero” to feature on Global Okanagan News at 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. as well as on our website.
Here’s how you can submit your Local Hero pitch:
- Send an e mail (with subject line: Local Hero) with the person’s name, why you think they should be featured, and your contact information to: Okanagan@GlobalNews.Ca
With your help, we look forward to showcasing an inspiring new Local Hero every month on Global Okanagan.
