WINNIPEG — Emergency crews were on scene for a massive house fire on Manitoba Avenue, just west of McPhillips Street Friday morning.
The fire broke out around 7:30 a.m.
Global’s SkyView 1 captured the fire, and flames and smoke could be seen tearing through the house.
Reports from the scene said the fire started near the back of the house and tore through the kitchen. Fire crews were spraying the house and breaking windows trying to put out the blaze.

Neighbours tell Global News no one lived at the house and it was vacant at the time of the fire.
