MONTREAL–Police are looking for suspects after an ATM was stolen from a local store in the Plateau-Mont-Royal early on Tuesday morning.
It’s the second theft of its kind in less than 48 hours.
A group of thieves broke into the store on Papineau street near Marie-Anne street at around 3:30 a.m.

The ATM machine was loaded into a getaway car which fled the scene.
Police continued to search for suspects and were scanning security camera footage.
A second ATM heist also remained unsolved on Tuesday.
On Monday, thieves broke into Barbie’s restaurant in Dorval and managed to steal a bank machine.
Montreal police say it’s too early to say if the robberies are connected.
