WINNIPEG — Two high profile Winnipeggers were honoured Monday for their dedication to the city.
Mayor Brian Bowman recognized “Dancing Gabe” Langlois and CJOB traffic reporter Brian Barkley with the Community Service Award.
Langlois, known by many as “Dancing Gabe”, can regularly be seen at Winnipeg Jets, Manitoba Moose, Winnipeg Blue Bomber and Winnipeg Goldeyes games dancing along to the music between plays.

A book was recently released on him and the impact he has had on the city.
Barkley has been in the CJOB Traffic Cruiser for 25 years and has been at the station for 39 years. He is retiring and his last day is Friday.
The award is given out to people who have given outstanding service to the community.
