HALIFAX – A pedestrian who suffered broken ribs after being struck by a car in Halifax is now facing a fine.
Police say it appears the 52-year-old man bolted out in front of the car on Windsor Street Sunday evening, and wasn’t near a crosswalk at the time.

The man ended up in hospital with broken ribs and a collapsed right lung.
But police still issued him 410 dollar ticket under the Motor Vehicle Act.
