Brown water expected in Winnipeg this week

WINNIPEG — A warning to some Winnipeggers as the water from your taps could be brown for the next few days.

The city is working on pipes that run across rivers and feed into the water main system.  Discouloured water could temporarily return for some residents while crews work on the pipes.

Work starting Thursday could affect Wellington Crescent and Crescentwood from Maryland Avenue, crossing the Assiniboine River.   Friday may affect St.Boniface, Norwood, Glenwood, and Archwood.

On October 26th, Wellington Crescent, North River Heights, Sir John Franklin, Edgeland, Old Tuxedo and Tuxedo could see some discouloued water.
