WINNIPEG — Emergency crews swarmed to the Tuxedo neighbourhood around 1 p.m. after a fire started in a one and a half storey home.

The fire chief on scene tells Global News initial reports suggest the blaze started in the garage and spread to the rest of the house. It’s still unknown how the fire started as the investigation is underway. Heavy smoke could be seen from downtown.
No one was injured during the fire.
