NEAR KEREMEOS, B.C. – The B.C. Ambulance Service confirms one person was transported by helicopter from a crash scene on Highway 3 Friday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 2 p.m.

Paramedics in two ambulances and a helicopter attended to a single vehicle crash, according to a spokesperson.
The Keremeos Fire Department and RCMP also attended.
The patient was airlifted from the scene to an undisclosed hospital and is said to be in serious condition.
The highway was shut down for a short time.
