LONDON, Ont. – Police say a woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after she was hit by an alleged drunk driver on the Western University campus in London, Ont.
Police say a minivan mounted the curb and struck an 18-year-old woman just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday near Talbot College.
The driver, a 24-year-old man, is charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm, impaired operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm and having more tha 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood.
He is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
