WINNIPEG — The condition of two young children involved in a serious crash between a semi truck and a pickup truck has been upgraded to stable.
It happened at Tache Avenue and Goulet Street Wednesday afternoon. Four people, including the children, were sent to hospital.
Witnesses at the scene tell Global News an adult and one of the children needed help getting out of the vehicle.
Emergency crews taped off the area and were on scene for several hours before the intersection reopened. Police say they are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
