CALGARY – Len Webber has won the riding of Calgary Confederation for the Conservative Party.

The riding of Calgary Confederation used to be held by Conservative MP Michelle Rempel, but boundary redistribution changed her riding to Calgary Nose Hill.

This riding is north of the Bow River, bound by Sarcee Trail, John Laurie Boulevard, McKnight Boulevard, and Deerfoot Trail. Much of this area was previously represented by Calgary Centre-North, with parts of Calgary West, and a small part that was formerly part of Calgary Nose Hill.

Calgary Confederation was named a “riding to watch” by Mainstreet Technologies following a poll they conducted in mid-September which suggested the Conservatives and Liberals would find themselves in a tight race when votes were cast.
