AJAX, Ont. – Provincial police have released the names of two people killed in an eight-car pileup in Ajax, Ont. last month.
Two transport trucks and six other vehicles were involved in a serious collision on Highway 401 on Sept. 23.

Allan Banks, 62 and of Mississauga, Ont., died at the scene after his vehicle was crushed under one of the trucks.
Lewis Dennis Dezsi, 56, of Oshawa, Ont., was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries.
One other driver was sent to hospital with minor injuries. Both truck drivers and drivers of the remaining involved vehicles were not hurt.
Police are still investigating the incident.
