UPDATE: 3 arrests made in Rosemont stabbing

MONTREAL – Three suspects have been taken into custody following an early morning stabbing in Rosemont that sent a  24-year-old man to hospital.

The suspects are two women aged, 31 and 25, and a 26-year-old man who is the primary suspect.

According to Montreal police, the two men were arguing in the parking lot of a business located on Rosemont Boulevard near de Normanville Street.

The argument escalated and the victim was stabbed in the upper body.

The incident happened at around 3:45 a.m.

The 24-year-old was conscious when he was transported to hospital, but his condition was deemed critical.

His condition has since been upgraded to stable.

A perimeter was erected at the crime scene, as investigators spoke to witnesses and reviewed surveillance camera footage.

The three suspects are in police custody and are being questioned as police try to determine each person’s involvement in the altercation.
