FREDERICTON – Venus the boa constrictor was located safe and sound on the south side of Fredericton on Wednesday morning.

Police tweeted shortly after 9 a.m. that there was a spotting of a large snake, and followed shortly after with an excited tweet that she boa had been located.
Venus was reported missing on August 18.
Photos indicate the snake was located and trapped on a residential property on Fredericton.
