TORONTO – A 27-year-old woman has been charged with animal cruelty after she allegedly threw another person’s dog off an apartment balcony in Toronto last month.
Police said the animal was killed following a dispute between two people at 5600 Sheppard Ave. E. on the weekend of August 21st.

The accused, whose identity has not been released, has been charged under the Criminal Code with one count of endangering or injuring other animals.
