Man in his 50’s in critical condition after crash on Highway 22

CALGARY – EMS were called to the scene of a two vehicle crash on Highway 22 at around 10 p.m. Saturday night, just north of Highway 1.

A collision happened involving a pickup truck and sedan.

The driver of the sedan, a man in his 50’s, was taken to hospital in critical, life-threatening condition.

Emergency crews had to extract the man from the vehicle because it had suffered significant damage.

The driver of the pickup truck, a man in his 30’s, was assessed by paramedics but declined being transported to hospital.
