WINNIPEG — Dr. Jane Goodall is world-renowned for her primatology and environmental work and she’s making a stop in Winnipeg Friday.
Goodall will be speaking at the University of Winnipeg as the second speaker in The Axworthy Lecture Series on Social Justice and the Public Good.
Goodall’s past work includes documenting the relationships and other behavioral patterns of chimpanzees, finding parallels with human conduct that started debate about evolution. The 81-year-old spends much of her time traveling the world speaking about animal rights and the environment.
The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the lecture will begin at 7 p.m. with a question period afterwards. The lecture will be at the Duckworth Centre at 400 Spence Street and will be rush seating.
