MONTREAL – Doctors will soon receive standardized kits that will allow them to carry out assisted suicides, reports the National Post.

The kits will be made of nerve-calming drugs that will help stop breathing.

In addition, there will be step by step instructions to follow from start to finish.

Quebec’s College of Physicians, the Quebec Order of Pharmacists and the Quebec Order of Nurses all played a role in creating the guidelines.

The province’s right-to-die legislation comes into effect at the end of the year.
