Toronto police seek 4 suspects after man beaten unconscious, robbed in the Annex

TORONTO — Toronto police are seeking help from the public in identifying four suspects after a 20-year-old man was beaten unconscious and robbed in the Annex.

Police said the man was walking in the Spadina Avenue and Bloor Street West area just before 3 a.m. Friday.

The four suspects then allegedly lured the man into a laneway, where he was struck by one of the suspects and knocked unconscious, according to police.

Police said the suspects then dragged the man out of view of pedestrians, kicked him while unresponsive and robbed him.

Police have released security camera video of the suspect and investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects.
