Violent robbery at Klein’s Food Mart in North Central Regina

REGINA – A 24-year-old man is facing robbery charges after Klein’s Food Mart was robbed late Monday afternoon.

Police were called to the 1000 block of Pasqua Street where it was reported that a man entered the store and started yelling at the staff. The suspect then found a baseball bat in the store, and allegedly threatened employees with it. It’s also alleged that he punched an employee in the face before fleeing with merchandise and cash.

The suspect was quickly arrested by police just a few blocks away.

24-year-old Joshua Shane McDonald is charged with Robbery with Violence. McDonald will make his first court appearance Tuesday afternoon.
