According to Environment Canada, a significant low pressure system is approaching southern Manitoba early this afternoon. As that system hits the warm front people in the central Interlake it is quite likely severe thunderstorms will develop later Saturday afternoon or early evening. As such, most of that area remains under a tornado watch.

Tornado watches are also in effect for Berens River, Bloodvein, Little Grand Rapids and the surrounding area. They extend to parts of the Arborg, Hecla, Fisher River, Gypsumville, Pine Falls and Nopiming Provincial Park.
