WINNIPEG — Fighter jets will fly over south Winnipeg Friday night ahead of the Blue Bomber game.

Two CF-18 Hornets and a CC-130 Hercules transport aircraft will fly over Investors Group Field right before the national anthem, which should be around 7 p.m.

It is all for Military and First Responders Appreciation Night as the Bombers take on the Toronto Argonauts.

A news release from the Canadian Forces said the aircraft will fly over the stadium no lower than 500 feet above highest point of the structure.
