Family escapes living room blaze in Regina’s north end

Regina firefighters extinguished another house fire in the North Central neighbourhood Tuesday.

REGINA – A family of four had to make a quick escape after a fire broke out in their home Thursday morning.

Fire crews said two adults and their two children woke up around 3 a.m. to a blaze in the living room of their home along Charles Crescent.

Officials add they were able to get the fire under control within 30 minutes.

The fire damaged the front part of the home, and the family spend the remainder of the night with the mobile crisis unit.

Investigators are still working to determine what sparked the blaze.
