EDMUNDSTON, N.B. – The body of a woman discovered in the St. John River near Florenceville-Bristol has been identified as Murielle Beaulieu.
Beaulieu, 66 and from Edmundston, was reported missing on January 8. Her body was found floating in the river in Clearview, N.B., on August 5.

At that time, RCMP said they were unsure how long the body was in the river but that it didn’t appear the death was recent.
The investigation is continuing.
