Real time live results available on Monday, October 19 2015 after polls close. Overall results will be available here.

Summary: Conservative MP Stephen Woodworth seeks his third term in Kitchener Centre, which has undergone minor boundary changes since the last election. This riding, and the previous riding of Kitchener, has been a near-perfect bellwether riding for decades.

Boundaries: The riding includes the the northern half of Kitchener (with the exception of areas north of the Conestoga Parkway-Bridgeport interchange), with its southern border at Highway 8, Highway 7 and Fairway Road.

Last Election: Woodworth defeated former Liberal MP Karen Redman by 11.1 per cent.

Kitchener Centre has seen its boundaries shift slightly to the northwest since last election. Had the current boundaries been in place in 2011, the Conservatives would have taken it by 8.1 per cent more votes than the Liberals (based on polling results).

History: Kitchener has generally alternated between the Conservatives and Liberals through its long history. Since the riding of Kitchener was created prior to the 1968 election, it has gone to the party forming government in every election with the exception of 2006, when Liberal MP Karen Redman retained it.

Demographics: 24.7 per cent of people said they had German heritage in the 2011 National Household Survey, the fourth highest percentage in Ontario.
